Brown Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 part Butter to 1 part Flour
- Beef/Chicken Broth or Milk
- (If using Milk instead of Broth add Salt)
- Black Pepper
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- (Optional) Mushroom, minced very small
- (Optional) Herbs/Spices that complement what it’s going on
Steps
- Melt Butter in saucepan over Medium-MediumHigh heat
- Add flour incrementally, mixing into butter
- Keep stirring until mixture turns brown, about 3-5 minutes
- While stirring, slowly add Broth/Milk
- Stir until gravy is desired consistency
Notes
- STIR CONSTANTLY
- Use equal parts Butter and Flour
- Can substitute Milk for Broth, but then you need to add salt to taste
